Dr. John S. Smith has a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, from McNeese State in Lake Charles, LA.
He got his DC (doctor of chiropractic) from Parker Chiropractic College and also a BS in anatomy.
He was in the USMC reserves out of HS.
He has a deep interest in nutrition as well as myofascial work in his treatment.
He is married and has a 16 year old son and a 13 year old daughter.
He was born in Texas, but grew up in Baton Rouge, LA.
He has worked previously in KY and IN.
He is a member of Crosspointe Baptist Church.
His favorite sport is football (and then, baseball and basketball, respectively). His interest in chiropractic dates back to when he received his first adjustment in High School, resultant from a car accident his mother had been in.
He writes in his spare time, and has been known to try to play a guitar.
He practices Diversified, Activator, and Thompson technique, and has recently been trained and certified in Koren Specific Technique.
It is a dream of his to visit Ireland and research his roots in the future.
